Ummmm....They make more different wheels than I have grinders....But I have 10 covered so far.

Thick grinding, cutoffs, flaps of different grits, wire different shapes and stiffness, sanding...and so on.

To start, I'll suggest grinding, cutoff and flap

Man, looks like I have some catching up to do.

Mostly I'll just be doing hobby type stuff.

I'd like to weld up some expanded sheet metal screens for my shop doors to prevent someone from breaking the glass and reaching in to try to unlock the door.

Just as several have mentioned the grinder wheel, wire wheel, and cutoff wheel. The guard is on the grinder you don't want to find out the hard way why you should keep it on. I took a fellow employee to the ER several years ago that almost died when a disk came apart and gouged into his arm almost getting a vein. Also safety glasses or hood should also be a must when running a grinder!

There are tons of attachments, enough to replace almost every other grinder in the shop. I also have a simple bench attachment that grinds faster and is mor versatile than my actual bench grinders. I can put two of them back to back with flap wheelsand a rest to hollow grind knife blanks. A hobby I want to do, but haven't really got into yet.
