I hooked up the spoolrunner 100 to the multi handler yesterday. Hooked up the 100% Argon tank, put in. 030 4043 aluminum wire. However I can find any starting settings for the spool gun in either manual (welder or spool gun) or the inside cover on the welder. I would be welding anything from 1/8" to 3/8" aluminum I assume. I set it for the mig settings screen, and all there is, is a voltage and wire speed setting knob. There's no amperage settings on the mig process screen. Does anyone out here with a multi handler 200 use the spoolrunner 100 to weld aluminum, and if so what are the approximate settings to start at so I'm not just burning up aluminum.

You set the parameters at the machine.

5 Wire Feed Speed Control
Wire feed speed is controlled by welding power source Wire Speed control (see welding power source Owner’s Manual or door chart for appropriate setting).
6 Voltage Control
Arc voltage is controlled by welding power source Voltage control (see welding power source Owner’s Manual or door chart for appropriate setting).

Only thing you adjust on the Spoolgun is the drive roll tension.

All I'm looking for are settings for aluminum, there is no suggested settings in the door, or either manual for aluminum. I have no problem welding with steel mig wire with the standard mig gun.
I'll figure it out, I just thought maybe someone on here had already done so and made up a chart they could share.

Start with the chart on the Handler and adjust from there. One thing that I learned from Mig welding aloominum is that it can be very finicky and small adjustments make a big difference compared to welding steel.

It is a learning curve for sure.

Plan to burn up some scrap.

I found more gas flow is needed too.

That's the problem, there are no settings for aluminum or the spool gun in the welder cover, welder manual, or spool gun manual, which was the reason for the question. However, Louie suggested the manual for the Miller 255, which does have settings listed. They look a little hot to me, but I guess it's a starting point.

Sorry folks, I went out to compare the settings that I got from Louis with the steel mig settings, and lowen behold, down near the bottom of the mig steel settings area, there is a section for Aluminum with optional Spool Runner 100 settings. They seem a little hot, but a very good starting point and just a little lower than the settings for the Miller 255 welder. set at 12.5 volts and speed at about 300 seemed to weld pretty good on the piece of 1/8" I was playing. Thanks for the answers, folks, all good and it turns out quite accurate. I don't think I can delete the original message, or I probably would. But I guess it might help someone someday.
