So I was asked to look at a weldment at work, and had an idea for home. These are fresh off the water jet, and need a wee bit of work, a slot cut in the center on the bottom and a 5/8 shoulder bolt brazed to them. There are 2 here but had to be bridged to not fall to the bottom. And I will have some small vee blocks for my table.

They are (2 but not yet cut apart in the photo) vee blocks for holding smaller round stock on my fab table. I got those right off the bat and he is cutting me a half dozen more.

Now that I have working prototype, finish out the other 11, not sure i will ever need that many, but whatever. Better to have and not need than need and not have. I saved the model on the waterjet so it can be scaled .

Nice, I only used the "stripper" / "Shoulder" bolt because I have several boxes of 5/8 shoulder bolts at my disposal. Fastenal dumpster diving. Long story short, I was dropping younger daughter off at dance, looked over and found several pallet shelves in their dumpster. That being said, I went back and kept what I found. About 20 boxes of hefty (3/8+ ) bolts but there was 3 boxes of 5/8 shoulder bolts of different lengths. So I am not using the threaded portion, just the "dowel" portion. I also made vee block clamps too but they just welded onto the cheap HF bar clamps.
