First of all Ill make a brief introduction.
I am an electronic wireless engineer by trade, but I have an offroad truck project I am putting together. I have taken 2 years of welding in high school and I have a Lincoln 220v arc welder that I have used spuratically over the years for odd ball home fixings. With my truck project I am adding some 1/4" plate to the frame in a few places leaf spring mounts, roll cage mounts and also welding this plate to the axle housings for structural support. I have tried welding with the buzz box using 7018ac sticks and have had some success with the axle housing, but the frame has been not so good. I know of a guy who has a Lincoln WM250 with gun, consumables and a few extra spools of various wire sizes that I can purchase. I am just wondering what a good offer would be for this machine.
