TIG welding thin bronze

I was asked if I could weld bronze. I said, sure. What would I need? Everdur rod.
I haven't used Everdur since 1986 -- I'm almost surprised that I remember it.
Then he comes back to me after break.
"Can you weld .050"? I said yeah, but I'm not sure -- that's pretty thin. Everdur does come in .035", though.
Anybody do this? Not talking about brazing steel, this is about welding bronze.

There used to be a video floating around of someone tigging aluminum foil, I think you’ll be fine! Knock on wood. I had to braze a broken antique floor hinge last year & it turned out great, I think it was bronze.

I weld bronze regularly. Everdur or commonly known as silicon bronze is readily available in .047" and should work well.

It's available in .035 also. Right now, they're speculating. There isn't a job in house for bronze right now.
