A friend of mine recently acquired a smoker designed and manufactured by Shirley Fabrication in Alabama.
Wow - they sure make a great product! His second time out he cooked a brisket that was absolutely fantastic.
Their welding craftsmanship is superb, as is the overall quality of their product. It cooks like a dream too. I've owned a Lang 48" model, but hands down the Shirley is better manufactured and it cooks better too.
One of these days I'll get around to fabricating one of my own, and the Shirley sure has a lot of good design ideas to follow, along with some other cookers made by WW members.
