I am interested in learning from those of you who have actually welded using the machines you will be mentioning.
I know about the more common dc machines like the SA 200 round barrel coppers. However, there are a bunch I am not aware of.
Just owning one and "its a neat machine" is not what I am looking for. How do they weld real world use? Are you someone who has welded enough to be able to make a fair assessment?
What machines have you used and found to be exceptional in smoothness, forgiveness, and general pleasure to run? I don't want to miss out on a worthwhile DC welder that I will wish I had known about but passed up due to ignorance.
Thanks
