Hi there, I have a Hobart champion 145 That only has 55 hours on it. And I noticed when I'm welding It will keep a steady arc then out of nowere has trouble keeping the arc and goes back to normal. I predominally use 1/8 6010 p rod. I've tried different rods. 6011 7018 1/8 and 3/32.
I've checked my connections on my stinger and ground. I also have it grounded to the chassie of my truck. I also use 90 non-ethanol gas for it. And I always use fresh gas.
