Can I add a foot pedal to the Titanium Unlimited 200 TIG welder from Harbor Freight?

If so, what part number do I need? The Vulcan pedal they sell has a different connector than the spot in the front of the machine.

Indeed, Jack of all trades is a master of none. However, that is only true of lower end machines, higher end machines however are an exception to that rule. There are plenty of machines that could do all three pretty well.

It is DC set it and go. Do you adjust a oxy-acetylene torch on the fly constantly ? You don't have to with tig either. It isn't as convenient but works quite well actually.

You set it right once and then you weld. Same thing here. Certainly don't need remote amperage to weld many steel hobbiest type projects.

Klutch cut rate multipurpose welders are the same way. You can tig weld with them but you just have to get the heat correct and then just go. For a beginner it can even be easier sometimes.

If you want a multi process machine with foot pedal capability, you need to buy the Omnipro 220. You will still need to buy the foot pedal separately. The titanium line is a more budget oriented option with less features.

Can I change this to NOT be scratch start? Can I get a torch with a thumb control or something. For a welding process that mandates you don't touch the workpiece it's kinda stupid to start the machine by touching the workpiece...

Nope. The whole process is started through the lift arc sequence.
